Her creative process is intuitive, a vulture's methodology of scavenging, refining, and cleansing. Through her artistic process, by listening to and re-organizing variant materials, she finds a naturally emerging sense of aliveness and precision in the work and in herself.

Ryan Baltor is a mixed media artist, musician, and poet based in Northern California, on Wiyot land, where her snail friends are plentiful.
